How to Pin on a Corsage:

Hold the corsage to the chest just below the left shoulder. Be sure to adjust the placement position appropriately for the neckline of the dress or if there is jewelry that will affect the corsage. While holding the corsage in place, catch the fabric with the tip of the pin on one side of the stem near the base of the flower. Guide the pin over, not through the stem at a slight downward angle. Then catch the fabric with the pin on the other side of the stem. Push the pin out to the surface of the fabric.

When you are ordering a corsage consider if the fabric and style of the dress is appropriate for a pinned on corsage. If the dress is strapless or made of sheer or satiny types of fabric a wrist corsage would be best.
