Have you ever tried to create a floral arrangement and been unsatisfied with the results? Do you think that you are flower challenged? Are you considering a career change and believe that being a floral designer would be of interest to you?
Christine's Creations has the answer for you.
We can teach you basic design principles that are easy and fun to learn. Our class sizes are limited so that everyone can have individual instruction time. Prices for each class include all supplies and instruction needed to complete the project. The instruction fee is $20.00 per hour and the cost of supplies will vary depending on the project. Most classes are between one and two hours long. All classes are taught in our studio but for an additional fee we can teach the class at an approved site (it must have adequate workspace, power and lighting). We offer too many course options to mention in this format so please email christine@flowerlady.ca or call us at 382-5239 and indicate if there is a specific project you are interested in learning. You may want to create an arrangement for a special spot in your home or as a gift. We are pleased to accomodate your interests and will teach a design specific to your needs.
For those who are more interested in learning floral design as a career change or are keen to learn at a more in-depth level. We offer a 8 hour intensive course (Level One) where students use fresh cut flowers and at the end of each day take home their own floral creations.

Course fee $300, this includes $20.00 worth of flowers for each design method taught, a book "Flower Arranging Step-By-Step Instructions for Everyday Designs" and course manual. This course is taught over 8 hours. The schedule of class times can be adjusted to fit the students schedule.
LEVEL TWO COURSE CONTENT - Pre-requisite Level 1 course

Parallel, vertical, hogarth curve, oriental, modern and L shaped designs
Course fee is $300.00, this includes $30.00 worth of flowers for each design method taught. This course is taught over 5-6 hours. The schedule of class times can be adjusted to fit the students schedule.
CHURCH & FUNERAL DESIGNS - Pre-requisite Level 2 course
- Altar arrangements, funeral tributes and stand sprays
Course fee is $200.00, this includes $40.00 worth of flowers for each design method taught. This course is taught over 5-6 hours. The schedule of class times can be adjusted to fit the students schedule.
CHRISTMAS DESIGNS (BEGINNER)
- Christmas fresh & artificial wreath, swag, fresh centerpiece & fireside arrangement
Course fee is $250.00, this includes $30.00 worth of flowers for each design method taught. This course is taught over 5-6 hours. The schedule of class times can be adjusted to fit the students schedule.
CHRISTMAS DESIGNS (ADVANCED) - PRE-REQUISITE CHRISTMAS DESIGNS (BEGINNER)
- More Christmas designs but with added design elements
Course fee is $250.00, this includes $30.00 worth of flowers for each design method taught. This course is taught over 5-6 hours. The schedule of class times can be adjusted to fit the students schedule.
SPECIAL OCCASION DESIGNS -PRE-REQUISITE LEVEL 2
- Fruit & flower baskets, Plant baskets, Cello wrapping, Armature designs
Course fee is $160.00, this includes $20.00 worth of flowers or product for each design method taught. This course is taught over 4 hours. The schedule of class times can be adjusted to fit the students schedule.
SILK & DRIED (PERMANANET BOTANICALS) -PRE-REQUISITE LEVEL 2
- Learn to use silk & dried materials to create permanent home-decor arrangements
Course fee is $225.00, this includes $50.00 worth of flowers for each of the three design methods taught. This course is taught over 3-4 hours. The schedule of class times can be adjusted to fit the students schedule.
WEDDINGS - PRE-REQUISITE LEVEL 2
- Bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, baskets
Course fee is $200.00, this includes $100.00 worth of flowers & supplies. This course is taught over 3-4 hours. The schedule of class times can be adjusted to fit the students schedule.
WEDDINGS (ADVANCED) -PRE-REQUISITE WEDDINGS
- Flower girl garland, hand-tied bouquet, pomander ball, body-art flowers
Course fee is $200.00, this includes $100.00 worth of flowers & supplies. This course is taught over 3-4 hours. The schedule of class times can be adjusted to fit the students schedule.
